The tonnage figures in the table do not include the pistachio production which is consumed fresh in-hull as fruit. Total fresh pistachio consumption for 2012 crop is estimated at an amount of 25,000 Tons (equivalent to around 8,000 Tons Dried In-Shell basis) mainly from  Khorasan-e-Razavi and Semnan produce
